Cleaner & Housekeeper (Full time & part time)

We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic people to join our ‘turnaround’ team. We are offering full time and part time positions at our rental station on Kvaløya in Tromsø. The cleaners will be responsible for the “Turnaround” of the vans. This includes cleaning inside and outside of the vans as well as the general housekeeping of the station. This includes filling dish washers, laundry and drying machines, keeping the storage, customer and working areas clean and tidy during and after each work day.

This job can be highly rewarding and at the same time very busy. The candidate should be able to work quickly and efficiently and should be able to complete their tasks with minimal supervision.

The working language of the company is English, Norwegian is not compulsory.

Your tasks as a Cleaner & Housekeeper will be:

  • Cleaning camper vans from the inside & outside
  • Dish washing & laundry
  • Keeping storage and wash areas Organized, clean and tidy
  • Cleaning the rental facility
  • Moving camper vans in & out of the garage
  • Snow clearing

Rental Agent

Nordiac is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Rental Station Agents at our Tromsø rental station.

We’re on the lookout for energetic and dedicated team members to become part of our dynamic crew. We’re offering full-time positions at our Kvaløya-based rental station in Tromsø. As Rental Agents, you will be responsible for preparing camper vans before rentals, conducting post-rental checkouts, and overseeing damage management. Additionally, you’ll handle customer service and support, basic maintenance and repairs of the vans, general office tasks, and more.

This role offers both significant rewards and physical demands. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work efficiently, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and complete tasks with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities as a Rental Station Agent:

  • Hand over camper vans to guests
  • Provide exceptional customer care and service
  • Manage digital fleet and booking systems
  • Perform basic maintenance on camper vans
  • Inspect and prepare camper vans before and after rentals
  • Occasionally drive and relocate campers/cars
  • Assist with in-shop sales and maintain shop stock
  • Help with cleaning during busy periods
  • Exhibit flexibility in handling workloads

Applicants for this position should:

  • Be fluent in English (mandatory)
  • Hold a minimum of a Driver’s License B (BE preferable)
  • Ideally, possess a background in hospitality and/or tourism
  • Have experience in customer service
  • Possess basic technical understanding of cars
  • Be familiar with standard office software
  • Be self-motivated and capable of independent work
  • Show eagerness to learn and a “Can do” attitude

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as the Office Responsible. This position is offered initially as a 1-year maternity cover at our Tromsø station head office, with a strong possibility of transitioning to a permanent full-time role.

As the Office Responsible, you will encompassing pre-booking and booking tasks, post-rental services, and damage management. Your responsibilities will also extend to customer service and support through email, phone, and online chat. Effective stock management, reordering goods, and organizing weekly shift schedules are also key components of this role.

Our office staff often serve as the first point of contact for our customers, making excellent customer service skills essential for providing the highest level of service possible.

Additionally, the role may occasionally require acting as support and backup for our rental agents and cleaning team.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Communication & Booking Management: Handle all inquiries via email and phone regarding camper bookings, rental procedures, payments, and general questions. This includes sending quotes and processing payments through payment links or bank transfers.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer care, ensuring a positive experience throughout the rental process.
  • Post-Rental Management: Manage after-rental tasks such as deposit returns, refunds, and addressing any parking fines or tickets.
  • Damage Oversight: Conduct general damage assessments, manage any damages, and communicate with clients regarding fines and damages via email or phone.
  • Digital & Inventory Management: Maintain in-shop sales and ensure shop stock levels are replenished regularly.
  • Operational Flexibility: Adapt to varying workloads and perform a wide range of tasks efficiently.

Position Requirements:

  • Fluent English: Proficiency in English is mandatory for effective communication.
  • Driver’s License: Must possess at least a Category B driver’s license.
  • Hospitality or Tourism Background: A background in hospitality and/or tourism is highly preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience: Demonstrated experience in customer service is required.
  • Technical Proficiency: Competent in using standard office software applications.
  • Independence: Should be self-driven and capable of working independently.

Car Mechanic with Camper or Motor-home Expertise

Nordiac is actively seeking skilled Car Mechanics with expertise in campers and motorhomes to join our team.

We’re on the lookout for experienced and dedicated Car Mechanics who possess specialized knowledge in working with campers and motorhomes. We have full-time positions available at our Kvaløya-based location in Tromsø. As a Car Mechanic, you will focus on servicing, repairing, and maintaining campers and motorhomes to ensure they are in prime condition for our customers’ adventures.
